1. Plate Pack Exchange:
Onsite exchange of your plate pack with a new plate pack.This is a quick turnaround procedure that minimizes down time on production, as well as the environmental impact and disposal cost of rinsing and re-gasketing onsite.
Rinsing and re-gasketing:
This consists of opening the heat exchanger, removing the old gaskets, rinsing the plates, and re-gasketing the plate pack.This is often a time consuming method for servicing a plate pack, but can be a more economical fix for some customers.This is not recommended for all services, as chemical impact on the environment as well as containment of process fluids can become quite cumbersome and expensive.
On-Site Dye Testing:
This is an invasive process by which the heat exchanger is opened and drained.Once the frame is drained it is closed again and fluorescent dye is circulated through the frame.After this is completed the frame is opened and inspected with a black light to pinpoint even the minutest blemishes in the plates.This is a valuable option for customers looking to assure the integrityof the plates in their heat exchanger.
